Point Values · Updated June 2026
Timeshare Point Values Index (2026)
Timeshare points are worth 0.4¢–$19 per point on the secondary rental market in 2026, but that range spans vastly different programs. Disney Vacation Club points trade at $13–$19 each — the highest of any timeshare program — while Club Wyndham and Westgate points are fractions of a cent. Per-program values below reflect what owners actually collect when they rent or sell their annual allocation.
These are rental values — what you net by monetizing this year's points — not resale prices for the underlying contract. Resale and rental are different calculations. See full methodology.

“Est. annual value” is calculated using the midpoint of the typical allocation range × the rental rate range. Actual value depends on your specific allocation, resort mix, and season. “Get offer” links are for Timeshare Rental Pros (TRP) — a cash-buyer service we may earn a commission from. Disclosure.
Methodology
Where these numbers come from
Rental values are sourced from secondary-market listing data: Airbnb and Vrbo listings for each program's flagship resorts, plus owner-reported payouts on TUG (Timeshare Users Group), RedWeek, and MyResortNetwork. We compare what owners net (after platform fees) against their annual point allocation to derive a per-point rate. Ranges are updated quarterly and reflect the low end (off-season, lower-demand resorts) to the high end (peak season, top-demand properties).
These rates also power the free points value calculator. Enter your specific allocation and the calculator applies the same rates to your situation.
Rental ≠ resale
These figures show what you can net by monetizing this year's points. Selling the underlying contract is a separate transaction with different — usually much lower — economics.
Maintenance fees offset
Annual rental value is the gross amount before maintenance fees. Most mid-tier programs (Marriott, Hilton, Wyndham) cover annual fees in full from one good rental; Westgate and lower-tier Bluegreen often do not.
Season and resort matter
The ranges above are program-wide. A peak-season week at a top resort can hit the high end; an off-season week at a slower property will be at the low end. Booking timing and resort selection are the two biggest levers.
Per-program summaries
Disney Vacation Club (DVC) points are the most valuable timeshare points on the market — owners commonly rent them for $13–$19+ per point. Most contracts run 100–500 points per year.
DVC has the strongest rental market of any timeshare, full stop. Demand for on-property Disney stays is enormous and year-round, so owner-side rental value runs roughly $13–$19 per point (brokers such as David's Vacation Club Rentals pay owners around $16–$19 per point and rent to travelers at about $22–$26).

Club Wyndham is the largest points-based timeshare program in the U.S. with 230+ resorts. Owners often hold 105,000–500,000+ points annually.
Club Wyndham points have a vibrant secondary rental market. Owners commonly rent peak-season weeks on Airbnb, Vrbo, or direct sites at rates that recover 50–150% of annual maintenance fees.

Marriott Vacation Club destinations are premium resorts with smaller annual point allocations (typically 1,500–7,000 points). Per-point rental value is higher than most legacy programs.
MVC points have the highest per-point rental value of any major timeshare program. A 1-bedroom in Maui during peak season rents for $400–$700/night on Airbnb — and 1 week of points (around 5,000) covers that stay, implying a rental value of $2,800–$5,000 for an allocation that cost the owner roughly $1,200–$2,500 in maintenance fees.
