- Starwood Vacation Ownership became Vistana. The live TPV Vistana profile states Vistana Signature Network was formerly Starwood Vacation Ownership (SVO).
- Vistana is under Marriott Vacations Worldwide. MVW acquired Vistana in 2018. That is the timeshare company, not Marriott International (the hotel company) and not Marriott Bonvoy.
- The currency stayed StarOptions. Owners did not automatically receive Marriott Vacation Club Destination Points. The two ledgers remain distinct.
